I'am confident that you will enjoy her monthly contributions & its our hope that her monthly contributions will help you in your "marriage planning" adventure.

I would like to introduce Dr. Keisha L. Bean!

Dr. Keisha Bean is a licensed psychologist for the state of Tennessee with a Health Service Provider designation. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology. Both her Masters and Doctorate of Philosophy degrees came from Tennessee State University. During this time, she received clinical training and supervision from Centerstone Community Mental Health Center, Vanderbilt University Counseling Center, and an Internship at the University of Cincinnati Psychological Services Center. Her postdoctoral training was completed at Vanderbilt University Community Mental Health Center.

She currently works for the Department of Children Services and oversee treatment services for the Juvenile Justice facilities within Middle Tennessee. Additional responsibilities include implementing evidenced based programming and facilitating gender-specific/gender-responsive programs for the department. Dr. Bean also teaches for Argosy University as an adjunct professor. This experience helps her in staying current with evidence based treatment modalities and interventions. Additionally, she also enjoys being able to train future clinicians in the field of psychology. She is the sole proprietor of Bean Counseling and Consulting Services; which serves men, women, adolescents, couples, and members of the GLB community.

While actively participating in various professional, church and social organizations; she still prioritizes her self-care time. This includes playing tennis, reading mystery novels, traveling and exercising. Her life also involves spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and their beautiful dog Diva, which they adopted from the animal shelter just a few years ago.
