Bridal shower themes

The typical bridal shower is a thing of the past. There are so many themes to choose from no wonder it takes brides so long to decide?? In this post I will give you several options of bridal showers and how to make them fab!

Stock the Pantry: Each guest will write their favorite recipe on a recipe card {you supply the recipe card in the shower invite} & bring the card along with all non-perishable ingredients for the recipe in a gift box or decorated basket.

Lingerie: Ask each guest to bring a gift of lingerie for the bride. Set the mood of the shower with lots of candles, the shades of pink, red & black. Create a lounge atmosphere for your guest.

Christmas Ornament: This makes a great winter shower for a bride who loves the holiday season. Guests should bring an ornament for the couple's first Christmas tree. My suggestion would be something unique & personalized!!

Garden Party: Cool summer breeze, fresh flowers, amazing outdoor decor! Ask the guest to bring something that the happy couple could use in their 1st garden.

Wine Tasting Shower: This can be held at an area winery or at someone's home. Have your guest to bring their favorite bottle of wine or wine accessory. Local winery venues: Long Hollow Winery & Vineyard in Goodlettsville, Tennessee; Beechhaven Winery in Clarksville, Tennessee; Arrington Vineyards in Arrington, Tennessee; Chateau Ross Vineyards & Winery in Springfield, Tennessee

Tea Party: We are past of the days of the white gloves, but if that's your taste plan a afternoon of high tea with some of your closet friends & family. Serve finger foods such as scones, mini sandwiches & a variety of tea. (Check out Teavana in The Mall at Green Hills for options) For a extra fun touch, have your guest come dressed in their best hats & gloves! I am all about a cute hat being from Kentucky. {The KY Derby=Fab Hats}

Looking forward to hearing about some unique shower themes!!
